Short term career options are to use my educational research knowledge and technical skills to get a job as a Security Analyst as well as to become more proficient in implementing securing controls. This includes earning CISSP and CISM certifications. Mid term career options are to progress up the ladder to middle management in the cyber security industry. Developing policies and conducting assessments to ensure compliance. Long term career options are to become a CISO and eventually a CIO as well as teaching/consulting cyber security to organizations.
