Led, Organized Crime and Gang Section Led, investigated, managed and conducted trials in complex racketeering and corruption investigations throughout U.S. Investigated and tried two RICO cases and first federal gang (MS-13) death penalty conviction and sentence in U.S. history. * Led near-complete dismantling of New England La Cosa Nostra through successful prosecution and use of racketeering statutes against two bosses, a capo and 9 other members and associates of the LCN, U.S v. Manocchio. Led prosecution and settlement terms in a $5.6 million-dollar health care fraud case involving ambulatory care. * Prosecuted racketeering, drug, and firearms cases resulting in convictions of 14 members of the Outlaw motorcycle gang, e * Participated as key team member on high profile international investigatory mission to Albania to investigate riots and killings that threatened peace and stability in the region. chaired and established Rule of Law program in post-conflict transitional democracy during period of political/legal uncertainty Managed $ 20 million budget and a multi-agency multi-national staff. Designed/Implemented Special Court for War Crimes and Organized Crime WITSEC FIUs and Special Victim Witness Unit. * Investigated and coordinated high profile U.S. investigations in Balkan region to include murder of three Americans. * Negotiated historic and landmark Vukovar Hospital massacre evidence exchange and war crime prosecution. Designed/implemented training for 1000 prosecutors police and judicial officials to reform judicial system.
