COVER LETTER: Dear human Resource Manager, I am very interested in discussing an opportunity for the Behavioral Health Director, to which I bring comprehensive training and experience. As you can see from my C.V. I have completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (June 2015), which includes internships that encompass extensive management, neuropsychology, geropsychology, sex offense treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, trauma, and psychometric testing in a forensic environment, as well as substance and chemical abuse assessment. I have also performed data research and analysis, and taught nursing and social work staff in behavior response techniques. My Doctoral-level internships are enhanced by over twenty years as a Master's-level Primary Therapist within the Rochester General Health System. There, in addition to assessment and therapy, I performed patient and staff teach, as well as formal staff training. I made presentations at Rochester Institute of Technology and Monroe Community College in collaboration with professors. I have also been involved in advocacy for patients with mental health issues, at the patient, institutional and legislative levels - in the latter case advising Legislators in Albany. Previously, I was a Recreation Program Director for special needs populations. My value to an organization will be my complementary skills in patient assessment and therapy, staff training, classroom teaching, advocacy, research and policy development. I welcome a personal interview and look forward to speaking with you. Cordially, Jasper (Jack) Watts
