Description
I have a strong background in offset printing in various sales and manufacturing capacities. For the past 10 years, while employed by Schawk Print Services, I served as print manager and customer representative for Unilever, one of Schawk's corporate clients. Recent changes in Schawk's ownership resulted in a substantial downsizing of employees, and I am currently exploring new opportunities for full-time employment. As Print Manager and customer representative responsible for the Unilever Foods & Health and Beauty Care's division, I provided oversight for a number of high visibility consumer brands, including Dove soap, St. Ive's shampoo, Noxema, Q-tips, and others. My responsibilities included a high volume of travel across North American and abroad in order to provide press-side quality control and be available to monitor and approve print runs for packaging. Ultimately, it was my responsibility to ensure the production of high quality deliverables in accordance with my customer’s specifications. To understand my customer’s needs and expectations, I often entertained my clients over dinner and other outings conducive to open communication and the development of solid, mutually trustworthy relationships. I developed and continue to maintain these excellent relationships with my corporate colleagues at Unilever, as well as with vendors and print houses nationwide.
