Description
To be a productive Scientist for a research laboratory and be an instrumental member in formulating, managing and executing several laboratory projects. I am passionate about performing meaningful biomedical research that could have an impact on human health, engaging in successful collaborations within the work environment, overcoming organizational challenges when coordinating with external collaborators, and working productively and strategically to focus on producing results and achieving success. I am skilled in managing laboratory requirements, such as overseeing projects and budgets, writing, editing and submitting manuscripts for publication, ordering and wisely using chemicals and instruments, and always anticipating and adapting in my environment to be a great leader and accelerate the progress of scientific advancement. Also, I have strong experience in the field of drug metabolism, detoxification and chemical defense system, along with completion of Clinical Pharmacology, IPPCR, Ethical Regulatory and Medical Writing courses. I am well aware about FDA regulatory guidelines for Investigational New Drug (IND) application etc., due to close association with CDER and CBER regulatory peoples, my knowledge with research experience in drug composition, manufacturing, detoxification, metabolism, bioavailability including efficacy and adverse effects, and recent completion of regulatory (Drug and Biologicals) courses, like IPPCR, Ethical Regulatory, Medical Writer and other clinical related courses at NIH/outside, gives me a strong foundation for a Medical Writer position. Moreover, serving as an Invited Reviewer for different journals, and serving as an expert in the current research field (Corresponding author in different journals). Actively engaged in Grant writing from CSIR, India (individual awarded grant) and invited Asthma Foundation, Inter-Institute Grant at NIH with Supervisor. I am enthusiastic and excited to try to achieve things with passion and my attitude is one of “duty first” while always respecting others. I look for opportunities to bring people of diverse backgrounds together and I enjoy the challenge of making everyone feel important. Research on ER membrane bound UGT Biochemistry, molecular biology, signaling mediated through phosphorylation, ubiquitination, O-glucNacylation and by other post translation modifications. I am working on association of UGT with interacting partners and regulation related to Breast and prostate cancer physiology. Engaged to train Post Bac, Tech-IRTA and Post-Doctoral visiting fellows in the Laboratory at NIH and mostly involved in management of wise useful of budget to pursue our most demanding research using Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Cell Biology, Immunology, Mass spectrometry, protein purification. (critical to ER membrane bound enzyme with unique solubilization requirement) for complex signaling event in major Drug Detoxifying enzyme system, involving interacting signalosomes consisting of several kinases and associated partners.
