Description
Qualifications * Operate electric, gas, propane and diesel forklift. * Create shipping labels, operate bubble wrap machines * Schedule deliveries with drivers. * Prepare shipments and unpack from stock. * Supervise laborers and material handlers * Group Leader Experience of 7 years * Verified counts and kept records on incoming and outgoing shipments * Applied knowledge of Mapics and SAP to ship membrane filtration materials * Prepare items for shipment * Maintained high standards of excellence including no loss of material or assets * Maintained close personal contact with UPS, FedEx, DHL and other various truck lines. Ensured principles and processes of DOT regulations maintained at all times. * Unpacked and examined incoming shipments, rejected damaged items, recorded shortages and corresponded with shipper to rectify damages and shortages * Distributed ordered materials to departments * Executed daily operations of Hazmat materials * Operated forklift, cherry picker, and mechanical pallet jacks to move, convey, hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platforms to storage and work area * Fill customer orders from stock * Load and unload materials from trucks * Operate heat sealers * Ensure all staff members maintain necessary certifications for shipping and receiving * Good computer skills, valid Florida drivers license, good mathematician * Follow all company policies while maintaining safe environment * Ensure that all customer orders are shipped to their specifications, maintaing quality, integrity, & quantity * Perform all duties in a efficient and timely manner * Work overtime as needed to meet customers requirements Work Ethics * Reliable
