Description
In 1985 I graduated as an Electronics & Communications Engineer from Queens Gardens Marine College in England, after which I spent the following 6 years in industry, designing stand by power supplies & emergency lighting systems. Between 1994 & 2007 I operated as an Australian State & Federal Contract Investigator. Investigations included but were not limited to Work Cover Safety & Government Fraud. I currently work as a Permit to Work Officer within the Australian petrochemical industry & my duties include but are not limited to Permit Issue, Confined Space Supervision, Risk Assessments, Permit review, lock out & tag out, as well as inspections/investigations into work place incidents. Industry sectors include fuel storage facilities at Retail, Commercial, Terminal, depot and Mining sites.
