Jacob and I am an ordained minister. I successfully completed my Th. D, in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Emory University, Atlanta, GA. I also have completed my Bachelor of Arts (B.A Economics); Bachelor of Theology (B.Th); Bachelor of Divinity (B.D) and Master of Theology (M.Th Pastoral Care and Counseling) prior to entering into the Ph. D program at Emory University. Further, I completed 4 units CPE from Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA in 2010. I am eligible for board certification and currently pursuing the same with the Board of APC. I have more than 23 years of pastoral ministry experience in various capacities such as Campus Minister, Youth Pastor and Senior Pastor among multi religious, multi linguistic population; 18 years of teaching experience at M.Div, B.D (equivalent to M.Div) and B.Th level; Eight years pastoral counseling experience and 3 years direct patient care experience as a hospital Chaplain in which almost two years I was working with Palliative Care patients, families and IDT staff. I have a thorough working knowledge and practical experience on death and dying, grief and bereavement. I have worked closely with persons and people going through Pain, struggles, death, grief and bereavement. With these outstanding experiences and training, I would like to apply for the position of Chaplain, in your esteemed Institution.
