I have more than 8 years of experience in plant genetic engineering and Functional genomic analysis of stress related genes. My strength includes extensive experience in plant tissue culture, genetic engineering of differ-ent rice cultivars for both biotic and abiotic stresses. In addition, for the past two years, I have been working marker aided selection breeding. I also have excellent working experience in model plants like tobacco and Arabidopsis. I have proven track record of working effectively with researchers from variety of backgrounds, publishing papers and developing protocols, and adapting various research techniques to address the scientific problems.
