Qin Su will continue his career as a Pathologist and Biomarker Scientist with his experience and expertise in Biomarkers, Assay Development/Validation, In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) including Companion Diagnostics (CDx), Anatomical Pathology, Molecular Pathology, Translation Medicine and Translational Research Sciences. Expertise areas: Anatomical pathology and histopathology, board-certified. Biomarker development, assay development/validation/evaluation/transfer; in vitro diagnostics (IVD) and companion diagnostics (CDx) development/validation. Immunoassays and molecular pathology, including immunohistochemistry (IHC), in situ hybridization (ISH), image analysis, antibody generation/characterization, ELISA, flow cytometry, Western blotting, PCR-based genetic analysis and gene expression profiling assays. Translational medicine and translational research sciences and personalized health care. Leadership capacities with cross-functional communication and coordination skills. Project design/implementation/management; laboratory management with Quality Systems (GLP, GCP and CAP). Oncology, immuno-oncology and virology researches, particularly on Liver, GI, lung, breast, head and neck cancers, lymphomas and lymphoid tissue neoplasms. Animal models for oncology and virology studies and drug discovery. Tumor tissue and reference tissue bank development and management.
