Description
Clinical Pathology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases are my favourite subjects. I graduated from Army Medical College Rawalpindi in 1982. I got training in Pathology from Armed Forces Institute of Pathology Rawalpindi Pakistan and was certified as Pathologist in 1986. Then I did my M. Phil in Pathology (Microbiology & Parasitology) in 1994. Since then I have been working as Clinical Pathologist & Microbiologist in various clinical laboratories of public and private sectors. I have also been involved in teaching Pathology (Clinical Pathology, Microbiology & Parasitology) to medical and dental students as well as students of allied health sciences since 2000. Currently I am working as Head of Pathology Department/Clinical Laboratory and Director PGME Pathology in French Medical Institute for Children (FMIC) Kabul Afghanistan for the last about 8 years. In addition, I have been performing additional duties as Chair Infection Control Program at FMIC for the last seven (7) years. Clinical Laboratory of FMIC is also managed by Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan and I am an employee of Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), Geneva Switzerland.
