SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: * Over three years as Cable Television Installer performing Cable Box, Telephone and Modem programming and installations. * Eight years of Underground cable, gas and electrical inspection including Con Edison Underground Transformers. Familiarity with the installation and inspection of Solar systems ensuring that panels are strategically situated to maximize sun rays. * Customs Officer for Jamaica's Import and Export operations by escorting goods to and from Airport or Sea-port and back to Holding/Bonded areas. Cable Installation and Inspection * Installed cable television cables and equipment on customers' premises using electrician's tools and test equipment. * Computed impedance of wire from pole to house to determine additional resistance needed for reducing signal to desired level. * Installed terminal boxes and strung lead-in wires. * Connected television set to cable system and evaluated incoming signal. * Adjusted and repaired cable system to ensure optimum reception. * Contacted load dispatching personnel to obtain work clearances on lines and equipment. * Tested electronic installations with testing apparatus. Reviewed work orders trouble reports and time and equipment records for completeness and accuracy. * Worked underground via manhole entrances to inspect Con Edison underground installations by identifying various electrical cables to be fixed. Inspected electric wiring fixtures and equipment and issued notices to repair and remove items found to be unsafe. * Kept records of inspections and prepared reports for use by Con Edison Maintenance and Repair personnel.
