I am a Facilities Manager (FM )and Contracting Officer (CO) with over 20 years of experience. I have equal years of experience in Project Management and contract negotiation with technical knowledge in writing and approving scopes of work. I manage a diverse and challenging portfolio of 150+ government owned, short and long-term leased properties for the Department in the countries of Ukraine, Haiti, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Angola, Senegal and Nigeria. I manage a staff of 50+ skilled tradesmen by assigning daily work order assignments and maintaining schedules. I respond to customer inquiries and follow-up on any outstanding workorders. I also communicate regularly with upper management in order to keep them abreast of projects, issues and any concerns. I have held several contracting warrants while serving in assigned countries. In addition, I have experience managing and maintaining budgets utilizing the Buildings Management Integrated System (BMIS). I successfully completed certifications through the Building Owners and Managers Institute International (BOMI). I am looking for a position that would allow me to use all of my 25 years of experience in maintenance, contracting, and safety management.
