Description
With (8) eight plus years of factory experience working on the 747 program, as a [body-structures mechanic], and eventually going into Quality Assurance Inspection as a lead. I moved into the IT world in 1998 supporting the Quality Management System and Software Quality Assurance FAA Accreditation to combine and streamline software process methodologies for the Enterprise Resource Planning Competence Center which resulted in a combined across-the-board reduction of man hours and resources to bring them to a Software Engineering Institute-Capability Maturity Model Level 2 compliance. I left the company briefly in 2003 and returned as a Quality Assurance manager in 2004 to help get off the ground and manage support to BCA for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. As the QA Manager / Lead of a team of 8 other employees, I facilitated the design effectiveness, operational effectiveness and testing phases to ensure institutionalization of the processes for internal controls for all of Boeing IT. I am currently engaged as a full-time employee [SME] subject matter expert as Domain IT Process Analyst responsible for daily activities in support of the organization’s Application Development & Sustaining audits, process check audits, peer reviews, and software testing surveys, corrective and preventive action audits, and performance analysis review audits to also include Service Level Agreements reviews, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance assessments supporting section 404 and providing support for FAA Accreditation Review Audits for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In the performance of my duties I gather data and create reports while documenting internal controls over financial reporting for Product Systems and Business Systems. I also engage in the operational effectiveness testing and interact with both the internal and external auditors as needed. I am certified in Corporate Governance through the Tulane University Law School in the Corporate Governance Program and have extensive background and experience over the last ten (12) years and am very familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures dealing with the Quality Management System, a specific provision of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act – SOX 404 compliance and Application Development & Sustaining Audits to include the FAA Accreditation processes.
