As a registered nurse, I aspire continue to utilize my extensive medical knowledge and nursing skills to provide comprehensive auditing and reporting skills. I currently play a key role in the auditing process and conduct comprehensive clinical audits for a managed care Medicaid insurance company utilizing my certified auditing and coding skills. This requires a vast knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance regulations, state and federal laws, clinical knowledge and coding. I mentor several other auditors performing coding audits and have a proven track record of excellent recoveries. My skills and experience has allowed me to develop the auditing process now in place with the development of comprehensive audit tools and education.
