I am seeking a Mortgage Underwriter position. I have worked in the finance (banking) industry, more specifically retail and wholesale lending for 24 years. I have originated, processed and closed all types of mortgage and consumer loan products. I have experience in underwriting loans for most of the country. Additional experience includes resolving deficiencies in the post closing environment. As the financial industry has undergone change in the last decade in regards to lending guidelines and regulations, I have adapted and applied those changes at various employment positions. During this period I have gained the skills needed to work in a paperless environment, the opportunity to work remotely from home and participate in the traditional office setting. In addition to an excellent work ethic, I am a quick learner and possess the ability to work independently or on a team. I have always believed in taking the initiative to get any job done quickly and effectively. I am self-motivated and able to multi-task with ease.
