Description
I am a highly experienced telecommunications professional. Coming from a department of defence background provided me with the skills and training needed to make a name for myself in the mining, oil and gas industries. Having worked as a Senior Wireless Engineer for Perth based company Air Communications leading a team of professionals to deliver successful projects such as the Autonomous Haulage wireless integration for Rio Tinto and camp wireless for a 1500 man camp at Christmas Creek Village for Fortescue Metals Group (FMG). I specialise in all areas of the spectrum from HF, VHF, UHF and Satcomm. I have been working extensively with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac technologies to deliver Point to Point, Point to MultiPoint, Wireless Mesh and enterprise wireless networks for large offices. I was approached by DiverseIT to take them from a then small operation and expand their wireless capabilities in the Australian resources sectors. I designed two rapid deploy platforms for oil and gas customer Buru Energy and mining company Atlas Iron which allowed for users to setup their own mobile VSAT hardware and extend wireless coverage for their remote site offices, roaming clients etc. For this position I also provided level 2/3 support for managed service and hosted clients by providing internal and customer support with VMWare, Switches and Routers, Storage, Microsoft Server and Active Directory to name a few. I am looking to move on to the next chapter in my career and want to pursue an international opportunity to relocate and take on new challenges.
