Description
To be effective Staff Scientist/manager for a large research laboratory/branch/agency, I could be instrumental to think and execute several laboratory projects. Performing research work and assisting others for higher productivity, engaging in successful collaborations within the work environment, overcoming significant organizational challenges in coordination with external collaborators, working productively and strategically with others in non-routine matters should be an effective strategy for an achiever. Managing laboratory requirements (projects, chemicals, instruments, service contracts etc.), budget, anticipating ahead of requirements, and adapting with the given budget should be a great leadership role to accelerate the progress of scientific advancement. Additionally, manuscripts editing, submission and related process for publication (reviewing suitability of research data) in specialized journals is also my great interest to increase my expertise. I am enthusiastic and excited to try to achieve things with passion and my attitude is one of “duty first” while always loyal and respecting others. I look for opportunities to bring people of diverse backgrounds together and I enjoy the challenge of making everyone feel important. Research on ER membrane bound UGT Biochemistry, molecular biology, signaling mediated through phosphorylation, ubiquitination, O-glucNacylation and by other post translation modifications. Currently I am working on association of UGT with interacting partners and regulation related to Breast and prostate cancer physiology. Engaged to train Post Bac, Tech-IRTA and Post-Doctoral visiting fellows in the Laboratory at NIH and mostly involved in management of wise useful of budget to pursue our most demanding research using Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Mass spectrometry, protein purification (critical to ER membrane bound enzyme) for complex signaling event involving interacting signalosomes consisting of several kinases and associated partners.
