Description
Dear Sir or Madam: Please allow me to introduce myself and provide you with some of my history, my goals and how I can assist you in improving. I have over 35+ years in the Food & Hospitality industry. I spent 23 years on active duty in the USMC as a Club Manager, Director/Treasurer and instructor. I Have an additional 10 years with the US Army as a Club Manager & Business Director. My success and what I will bring to your company is love for the F&H industry and exceeding customer expectations. I accomplish this with a strong dedication to mission accomplishment, loyalty, dedication, improving employee morale and strong work ethics. I am successful in improving employee morale through establishing both short & long range goals, strong training, creating a team environment and a fun place to work. My goal is not meet our customer’s expectations but to exceed them. In today's environment and the growing number operations having repeat customers are a must to survive; just meeting customers’ expectations is a great start. Exceed them in both quality of product & service will keep them coming back. Leading by example, training employees, setting both short & long range goals and sharing them with employees, creating a team environment and making the job a fun place to work will pay large dividends. Lead by example, I set a great example I'm early for work and never hesitate to stay late when needed. I'm reliable. I think training of employees is number one mission for employee job satisfaction. I think offering bonuses and rewards motivate employees to try harder. I don't think that the bonuses & rewards need to always be in dollars. I am committed to lowering employee turnover so I can really get to know the staff and to reduce the cost of operating the business. I am always available for the staff to listen and assist in any way possible. A fun environment will always make for a great team; but not a silly environment. Last is you must earn the staff's respect it does not come with the position. I look forward to an interview with you; also don't wait or pass me over I will not be on the job market very long. V/R Charles F. Gordon
