I am a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist with 16 years of experience in the petrochemical industry. I possess 8 years of operational experience and 8 years of safety and process safety experience. My knowledge base provides me with incentives to enable and encourage workers in taking ownership and practicing their learnings. Active employees in company provided safety programs will ensure successful results. This is proven as management, employees and contractors work together rather than separately to achieve a zero tolerance for incidents. In addition as an EMT-I, I learned to help prevent situational medical instances prior to occurrences. My passion for safety has been proven in the successful revitalization of a Behavioral Safety Program and the coordination and leadership for a successful achievement of VPP Merit status for a large Petrochemical Site.
