My name is Mike Richardson, I am a heavy equipment fleet manager. I am best known as being the go to person for machine operation and maintenance problem solving. Most recently I worked at Waste Management as a Heavy Fleet manager covering nine states in the Midwest and from Alberta east in Canada. Where I was responsible for 1250 pieces of heavy equipment. Also in addition to the 1250 units were a number of pumps, gen-sets, ATV’s pick-ups, road trucks and misc support equipment. A few of my accomplishments include developing a machine rebuild program, Operator and Tech training, a highly successful oil sampling program. I recently left waste management as are result of a recent reorg, where 800-900 employees were offered a package. My next step is to secure a position with a highly respected dealer or manufacturer as a product support manager or in a service related position.
