I have managed a fast paced very detail orientated warehouse for over 10 years. With key attention to lot control and traceability to report to the FDA. I have implemented and maintained several requirements such as cycle counting and load scheduling. I have spent several years level loading a warehouse that is very prone to peaks and vales. I work with people and crews to bring out their best attitude and performance through open communication and one on one mentoring. Using a job skill performance and rating matrix, I help employees realize skill levels and set new attainable goals. I have initiated several flow observations and identified bottle necks and paths around or introduced new procedures to keep an even flow of material through the facility. I also started several recycling programs reducing cost of haul off and burden to landfills. Through lean work outs and several employee interaction sessions, identified previously unknown batching mentality and developed procedures to improve proper flow. I modified kitting procedures to utilize Kan-Ban techniques to improve flow of material into production. Worked with Quality Control and production to increase speed of releasing product to warehouse by implementing a color coding system for product that was on back order as opposed to build to stock.
