Major Responsibilities
I started my Best Buy career in the retail stores and worked my up and was awarded a General Manager position for a Grand opening store. I decided to pursue a career at our corporate office and transitioned into our Best Buy for Business Channel and now run the leads quality group.
All positions required that I have extensive knowledge of our company’s business acumen and the ability to drive expected results. I proactively and consistently analyze the business daily to insure the team is on the right track. I regularly communicate with the teams about what’s working, what’s not working, I get feedback and make immediate adjustments.
I have successfully managed teams ranging from 4 – 180 employees at a time and have been responsible for achieving revenue goals ranging from 20-80 million. I also maintain a business rhythm with employee’s that include regularly scheduled 1 on 1s, team meetings and round tables. I am required to provide yearly budgets by setting sales goals/expectations, managing SG&A budget, oversee facility operations/sales and provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to senior leadership. I give all the credit for my success at Best Buy to the incredible teams I've been so lucky to be a part of!
