Brenner 79 Easthampton D West Palm Beach, FL 33417 Dear Sir/Madam: I am applying for a position either full or part time. I have already submitted my resume and would like to add the attached cover letter as to my qualifications. I am a retired New York City Public Defender. I desire to contribute to society and use my experience and expertise to make a difference. To that end, I will make an outstanding employee. In New York City I worked for the Office of Court Administration in Family Court. I carried a caseload of juvenile offenders and also dealt with cases of neglect and abuse. I was known for my ability to interface with various judges, expert witnesses and relevant agencies to achieve the best outcome for the juveniles I worked with. I worked closely with Judge Judith Sheindlin before she became famous as “Judge Judy.” I have strong communication skills and am skilled at analyzing court documents. I have the ability to explain complicated court documents and procedures simply and concisely. I am very interested in this position and look forward to hearing from you to schedule an interview to further discuss my qualifications. I am confident that my experience is my strongest value to your office. I thank you for your time. Respectfully, Mark H. Brenner
