I have a long and varied background in nursing, and have appreciated and enjoyed all the opportunities that have come my way. My strengths are in assessment, communication, coordination of care and relationship building. I have considerable knowledge and skills in wound care, venipuncture, various medical procedures and tests, and use of electronic medical records. Over the past few years, it has been necessary to take periods of time off to care for ill and aging and family members. This phase is now over, and I am looking forward to getting back into the work force with renewed energy and focus. I like a challenge and being in an environment which allows for learning and growth.
