SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS Plan and execute network infrastructure development and expansion both wireless and wired as needed to ensure the highest level of reliability to the customer. * Identifying network and bandwidth abuse through the use of active and passive network monitoring software. * Installed, terminated, test and troubleshoot voice and data cables. * Configuration of Cisco branded devices such as routers, switches, wireless bridges and wireless access points through the Cisco IOS CLI. * Ensure the reliability, stability, and functionality of the network by continuous monitoring of network and systems to include voice, data, and wireless infrastructure. * Analyze and report outages as well as corrective actions to theater Network Operations Center. * Able to console into the routers / switches and follow the instructions to reconfigure / Rebuild them if required. * Able to work with Network and Phone Cabling in IDF for LAN and Voice. * Able to install, uninstall phones, Move Phones to different floors and building. * Good communication skills for End user support. * Ready to work in Off Hours weekends whenever required. * Great Knowledge of Ethernet Cabling, Telephone Cabling. * PBX installations of Mitel and NEC switches. * Copper Structured Cable Systems, MDF-IDF. * Create tickets for reported incidents and service requests, and work to close or escalate the ticket in an efficient manner. An example of tickets include: PC/laptop/Server operating systems (Windows XP, 7, & 8, Server 2003, 2008, & 2012), setting up corporate email on phones, hardware issues (servers and workstations, Outlook email issues, connectivity, virus/malware removal, troubleshooting network components and hardware/peripherals (printers, access points, etc.), new PC setups, user account management, mailbox management, mail flow troubleshooting, 3rd party software support, etc.
