Management Experience – 7+ Years; (4.5 years Sales and 3+ Years Underwriting) I have been in the mortgage industry for several years, and among the positions I have held are underwriter, senior underwriter, and underwriting manager. In these positions I was responsible for credit review and risk evaluation/management. Along with general underwriting duties I was also responsible for review and second signature on declined loans and jumbo loans. As the underwriting manager I also had oversight of scheduling and file assignment for the underwriting staff and contract underwriters. It was also part of my responsibility to work closely with the broker community to assist our client base in structuring loans so they could close.
