Description
I am currently the Senior Quality Lead at GE Oil and Gas that is relocating to Jacksonville, Florida and I have decided not to go that career route. I have experience, special knowledge and skills with Process Control duties and managing and performing PPAP’s, GE’s and Caterpillars 6-Sigma tools with a focus on improved productivity and lean, supervising, presenting and communicating the status of Kaizen events and 6-sigma projects as well as the ISO/TS 16949:2009 Internal Audits program. I am extremely proficient with word processing, spreadsheet (pivot tables, what-if-analysis and other statistical tools and software e.g. Minitab (Ver. 16)) and database applications. I also audited many BC/BS facilities and listened and worked at and with their “Call Centers” when achieving ISO 9001. My experience also includes working with Machinists (CNC) and Welders. For the last few years I have had the role at Caterpillar where I was the Supplier Collaboration Engineer (Supplier Quality Engineer with $25,000 purchasing approval authority) and previously an ISO/TS 16949 Lead Auditor with two of the Top 5 Registrars. I willing to travel and /or relocate at this time as well. I have a calm disposition, enjoy collaborating with suppliers and have a very professional and excellent leadership manner. I am a seasoned road warrior with a real “can do” work ethic e.g. one of the first to arrive, always on-time to meetings and never miss an assignment. In the same breadth, I enjoy working with team members and understand the relationship between suppliers, engineering needs, and issues that production and purchasing departments have with the consequences of poor quality on operations and customers if PPAP requirements are not completely adhered to. I would be pleased to elaborate on these aspects of my management skills when time allows. Joe Heinz 224-213-0750 joeheinz57@icloud.com
