Actively seeking the opportunity to secure a full-time Low Voltage Technician position in which to help company excel and reach difficult goals. Qualification: * Remarkable proficiency in the use of hand tools, including various punch tools, test equipment, drills & saws. * Solid knowledgeable of the installation of equipment running and pulling wiring programming and calibrating equipment. * Immense ability to adhere to codes, regulations, and standards. * Proven ability to work well with others and to supervise employees. * Thorough working knowledge of various types of cable & termination hardware as well as termination and testing procedures used on a day to day basis. * Deep understanding of the construction principles used in residential and commercial buildings. * Exceptional ability to read, interpret and communicate technical information. * Ability to read and understand schematics * Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations using a pre-established check sheet. * Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.
