Management- Lead and managed teams of underwriters (FHA, VA, Conventional, Bond and Non-Conforming) to engage with external/internal business partners through analyzing, implementing and updating processes while executing sound process improvement models and techniques. Mentored team members, enhance individual performance and growth. Implemented a key process, which significantly increased the approval to closing of the borrower's mortgages from 90 days to 45 days. Partnered with Sales Managers to select dedicated Home Loan processors for the Non-conforming program and aligned them with dedicated underwriters. This task helped to develop a strong partnership and trust between sales and fulfillment. Process Improvement - Developed the training for the Home Loan Processors and Sales force for the Southeast division on the Non-conforming program. Developed the training and delivered the material to the 45 Home Loan Processors and 200 Home Mortgage Consultant via a conference call (live meeting). Continue to have bi-weekly calls with the Home Loan Processors and Home Mortgage Consultants to go over any changes to the program. Quality has improved 65% since this training was started. Risk Assessment. Complete analysis, measuring program effectiveness and recommends activities and program strategies. Inspect, gather and give feedback, actively taking action to ensure metrics are moving in the right direction and achieving desired results.
