COVER LETTER: Hello, my name is Steve Hash. I am seeking employment as a machinist. My machining background began in 1976 while attending Prosser Vocational School. After graduation from high school I was employed as an apprentice Tool & Die Maker while attending Jefferson State Technical Vocational School. In 1980 I was employed as a machinist at the Naval Ordnance plant until 1998 when the plant was downsized and privatized. As a machinist I have become knowledgeable in the operation of lathes, mills, grinders (surface, cylindrical) both manual and CNC, drills saws, metalizing through spray welding technique. I also have my own tool boxes and precision measuring tools. My knowledge of machining and machining processes, along with dedication to producing the highest quality part or product would be an asset to your company given an opportunity to join your workforce.
