Description
SUMMARY Two key traits have enabled me to experience success in my ten plus years in the film and television industry: innovation and communication. Innovation involves finding new ways to solve problems, such as filling an entire football stadium with background actors as a 19 year old casting director. Innovation also comes into play when you are running a business in an economic downturn and refuse to cut out creativity, even when your clients have challenging budgets. Communication involves not only the ability to tell a compelling story, but the ability to understand what a client wants, or what theme needs to be presented, and then produce engaging content that effectively conveys that point. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS: Produced/directed the award-winning documentary, It's Just a Game. Managed budget, film crew and three month shooting schedule. Won best short documentary in the Trail Dance Film Festival and the International Cherokee Film Festival. Founded and grew White Knuckle Studios LLC in the midst of an economic downturn. Grew company with limited resources, expanding from local commercials to working internationally.
