Software QA Automation Engineer

I am a Software Quality Assurance engineer with over 35 years of experience in the computer industry and over 10 years of experience in software quality assurance with an emphasis on test automation. I have developed a complete test harness (from software installation to emailing the test results) using Perl and have also developed test scripts, test log extracts and server administration scripts using Perl, VB Script and MS PowerShell (with some exposure to Python). I have experience automating regression tests using Quick Test Pro, primarily using expert mode (VB Script). I have over 7 years of experience in SQL (primarily Oracle and MS SQL), including automated database extracts. While most of my experience is on Windows platforms I have also worked on UNIX/Linux platforms developing Perl and Shell scripts. I also have experience with Windows server administration and some experience with UNIX administration. While attending Colorado Technical University I completed two semesters of C++ (4.0 GPA).
