Health Care - Legal Counsel

Serve as legal counsel to a health care, non-profit or small-0-medium sized organization. Provide in-house legal counsel legal activities including drafting and review of contracts and legal documents, oversee legal-regulatory compliance activities, coordinate board meetings and governance services. Manage government relations and external affairs activities including review of proposed or existing legislation and regulations; draft written and/or oral comments and testimony relating to proposed legislation and organize stakeholder groups including trade associations, individuals, business groups and other entities to take positions on legislation (seeking amendments and changes). Provide advice to senior management on strategic business/legal matters. Provide input in handling complex and important business situations requiring legal analysis and input.
