I am looking for an opportunity to apply fully my skills in the field of general, OBGYN and vascular ultrasound, and to become part of an organization whose mission is based on quality patient care with allowance to produce excellent ultrasound studies, while continuing to learn and grow as a healthcare professional. Position Desired: Clinical Interests: To use my clinical experience to produce, evaluate and record diagnostic ultrasound images; prepare preliminary interpretations, perform examinations for in and out patients, perform vascular studies (venous and arterial); perform abdominal and OB/GYN studies (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester and biophysical profiles); breast ultrasound – targeted and screenings, small parts (thyroid and scrotum) and retroperitoneal/renal studies; assist radiologists with U/S guided paracentesis and thoracentesis as well as breast, liver and thyroid biopsies: assist in operating room during ultrasound guided surgeries. General interests: Ways to increase the sensitivity and positive predictive value of ultrasound studies to avoid unnecessary radiation exposure. Teaching ultrasound physics, instrumentation, cross-sectional anatomy as well as hands on teaching in the clinical setting.
