Histology Supervisor
I am a Histology Laboratory Manager of a highly successful research core laboratory that serves over 100 principal investigator laboratories, from over 20 different departments. I have extensive histology experience in research and high through-put clinical arenas. Experience with training, maintaining records, compliance, presentations, reviewing and writing SOP policies. Experience includes highly skilled, hands on techniques in histology practices and procedures including: tissue processing, embedding, sectioning / microtomy, frozens / cryostat, special stains (manually and automated), immunohistochemistry, IHC, insitu hybridization, ISH, electron microscopy, light microscopy, photo micrographs, tissue structure.
