Emergency Management Specialist
Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Officer; function as supervisor, coordinator, technical advisor, and special staff officer to the commanding officer for operational and technical functions associated with CBRN related issues within the command. Advise the commander on CBRN defense readiness and provides technical expertise pertaining to the management, procurement, and distribution of CBRN equipment. Plan, coordinate, and supervise CBRN related training, and prepare plans, annexes, orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) relative to CBRN. Advise commanders on the vulnerability of their own forces, and work with intelligence communities in collecting, evaluating, and dissemination of information concerning enemy capabilities. Perform the duties as the physical security officer and the Antiterrorism Force Protection Officer for 3d Marine Regiment.
