Highlights:

• Achieved inventory accuracy which led to exemption from physical inventory. Improved inventory accuracy from 85% to 98% by re-organizing inventory. Setting min and max quantities for each item and performing monthly cycle counts. • Reduced inventory levels by $9M by optimizing purchases and disposal of excess and obsolete inventory. • Achieved record-breaking customer service improvements in delivery reliability (On-time delivery above 98%) and capability by thoroughly training all warehouse personnel in warehouse procedures and customer requirements and service. • Implemented accountability room where Supervisors, Managers along with Director met each morning. Supervisors and Managers shared updates on previous days actual metrics compared to plan. If plan wasn’t met would give reasons and plan to get back on track. This time was also used to look at labor planning for next day and upcoming events. • Developed individual developmental plans for internal talent for improving leadership strength. • Identified $1.2M in annualized savings through freight negotiation and consolidation. • Developed SOP’s for each warehouse function for new employee integration to improve operation’s segment of the new hire orientation program. • Established and maintained safe and healthy work environment and provided high level of safety awareness among warehouse team through continual monthly meetings that focused on safety and housekeeping along with safety audits on methods and unsafe behavior resulting in 50% reduction in lost time accidents. • Developed and implemented Job Safety Analysis for each job function for area safety and job specific safety. • Initiated numerous projects that streamlined processes by automating time-consuming functions while increasing overall productivity with cross functional teams to increase sustainability.  Consolidated 4 satellite warehouses into new 680,000 square foot warehouse in 2000-2001.  Led project for 4th pick module that was 300 feet in length and 3 levels high and contained pallet and carton flow rack locations that tied into merge with 41 down lanes to pallet stands.  Led project to install warehouse racking with over 35,000 pallet locations.  Led project to correct major bottleneck by installing palletization stands at 41 down lanes, AGV’s (Automatic Guided Vehicles), and automated wrappers. AGV’s would pick-up completed pallets at pallet stands and take to automated wrappers.  Due to the growth of the Dotcom business led project to install a Daifuku Miniload system where a crane brought product to pick and pack area.  In 2010 due to business drop consolidated a 400,000 square foot leased facility in 4 weeks for financial reasons.
