I am an environmental consultant & scientist specializing in impact analysis, project design, sustainability and mitigation design. I am also an attorney. While I have practiced in most civil areas of law, I specialize in environmental law. I went to law school to make myself a better environmental consultant. The integration of these two disciplines has been a major advantage for any employer and on every project I have worked on. It is a much different approach to incorporate legal review into the project design and the ultimate drafting of required documents, permits or even the drafting of new laws - this integrated approach saves time, money and avoids nearly all potential challenges to any proposed project or documentation. I have worked extensively with the DoD, BLM, USFWS, US Congress and State and local governmental entities. I am very familiar with regulations and laws that must be complied with for any given project and keep abreast of new developments and trends in all areas. I am able to work independently or supervise others in office or outdoor settings.
