As my enclosed resume indicates, my background includes more than a decade of service at PathLabs, Department of Pathology, Immunology Laboratory Medicine, CEG DNA sequencing core and ICBR Genomics division with significant experience in: • Processes specimens, prepares reagents, performs testing procedures; reports and interprets test results. Preparation of blood and tissue samples for extraction of RNA, DNA, etc. • Responsible for trouble shooting, perform quality control experiments for analysis and standardization. • Verifies analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity and references ranges for test methods. • Maintain and performance the core facility of automated DNA sequencer (Sanger Sequencer and Next Generation DNA sequencing platforms: Ion Torrent PGM, Roche 454 GS-FLX platform, 5500 SOLiD Sequencer, PacBio RS), the QuantStudio 12 K Flex OpenArray Real Time PCR machine, , Pyrosequencing, Roche Light Cycler, GenMark Dx, QiaCube, etc . • Conduct researches on mammalian genetics for CEG members and ICBR Genomics division’s users • Cooperate with all of CEG and ICBR Genomics division’s users and Troubleshoot problems • Train students, postdocs, residents and all other users to do Biologic molecular experiment. • Participate in the development and implementation of new clinical molecular diagnostic testing procedures and clinical trial tests. • Provide an excellent service to all the members and customers; Prepare billings and reports.
