I am presently working with SDI Marketing as a Customer Service/ Sales Representative. I service Kroger/ US Bank customers in the capacity of CSR and Sales. My responsibilities include introducing Kroger customers to US Bank 1,2,3 Rewards visa cards promoting the products and completing the application. This means I endeavor to speak with Kroger customers who come into the food store and the gas station to fill up on gas. The interchange is always enlightening and productive because I have to earn trust within one minute of introducing myself to the customer. My job description at State Farm was Customer Service/Agent. My responsibilities included selling products customer service problem solving listening skills communication skills. I enjoy dealing and communicating with customers. For the past twenty plus years I have enjoyed the privilege of watching cargo move through the islands of the Bahamas and the process involved in moving shipments from origin to destination. Through my experiences with customs clearance and exports I was able to develop and expand international courier and cargo departments by moving shipments from anywhere in the world to The Bahamas and exporting shipments from The Bahamas to anywhere in the world. Manage and oversee trade relations with manufactures and suppliers. Develop and manage systems for moving totally confidential and high quality shipments for international banks. Arrange movement of shipments to and from family islands in a timely manner to allow these companies to operate in real time. I was successful in expanding the family island domestic shipping and setting up direct routes. Develop international shopping and shipping services to The Bahamas and expanding the services to export to The Caribbean. Develop Supply Chain Management services between China USA and The Bahamas. Recently my experiences included introducing companies to cargo logistics and finding the most efficient means to move cargo from origin to destinations at best cost. Marilyn has experience in managing up to 50 staff members at any one time. She managed The Discovery Cruise Line based in Freeport Grand Bahamas for about 5 years. She was responsible for setting up and developing courier services for World Bound Couriers (a division of Global Custom Brokers). She was the cargo manager for Global United for five years. At New Level Logistics she promoted shipping services to the family islands in the Bahamas and international cargo and courier services.
