I have more than ten years of research experience in Structural Biology and Biophysics. During doctoral training, where I have concentrated on structural biology and biophysics of proteins, I gained invaluable experience in standard protein chemistry; cloning, PCR, mutagenesis, protein expression & purification, and various biochemical and biophysical tools such as solution NMR spectroscopy, x-ray crystallography, small angle x-ray and neutron scattering (SAXS and SANS) and static light scattering and others that I used to address questions related to protein function. As a postdoctoral researcher I have combined general protein biochemistry approaches with computational biology tools; I have focused on theoretical modeling and all atom molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, metadynamics simulations, accelerated MD (aMD) simulations of proteins both in single molecule and in ensemble level using AMBER and tested the outcomes experimentally via techniques such as solution NMR spectroscopy, small angle scattering (SAXS, SANS) and other biophysical/biochemical tools. I am capable of working independently, creatively and have necessary skills to communicate and work efficiently in a collaborative environment for long-term challenging problems. I posses highly quantitative background and wide variety of technical skills. I believe this skill set makes me a valuable asset in both pharmaceutical and biotech industry where general protein chemistry, structural/molecular biology and biophysics expertise is required.
