I am a seasoned professional with over twenty-five years of professional and educational experience in the field of Information Technology (IT). In that period of time, my career has evolved from basic IT operations to senior-level IT management. Just in the past seven years, I attended eleven training programs at George Washington University, FEMA, and Shapiro Negotiations Institute for subjects including Logical Data and Process Modeling, Risk Management, Project Leadership and Management, and Negotiations. I also earned six certifications from Dell, Novell, FEMA and George Washington University including a Master’s Certificate in Project Management. My approach to education is continuous and my career path has been just as active, with each step deliberately building on the other. I am fully committed to the tasks at hand, leveraging past successes, learning from difficulties, and understanding and utilizing industry best practices. I am determined to answer the questions, “Am I doing things right,” and “Am I doing the right things,” with a yes for all the right reasons. Consequently, my previous and current duties equip me to achieve my short-term goals; and all of these develop the necessary foundation for success in my long-term goals.
