Ph.D from University of Wisconsin-Madison in December 2003. Over +20 years of experience in various aspects of atmospheric and oceanic sciences (remote sensing, atmospheric radiation theory, polar climatology and climate change, natural disaster monitoring and predication, data assimilation, etc). Recent main fields of interests: cryosphere study, polar climate change, hyperspectral IR clear/cloudy forward model study, remote sensing of cloud and sea and lake ice properties, weather satellite data applications.
