I am interested in a career advancing the detection and therapeutic options for human diseases. I performed research on breast cancer cells during my Ph.D. work, and in that time I was involved in researching causes of human breast cancer that have previously been unexplored. I became excited about working to elucidate the causes of human disease, and decided that a career in the development of novel therapeutics and/or biomarkers for human diseases is where I would like to put my skills to use.
