Due to the status of the economy General Electric Power and Water (my present employer) is closing 5 warehouses and moving our material to one main warehouse in Atlanta. In the process they are eliminating the positions of all employees in these facilities and not transferring any of us to Atlanta. Therefore I am seeking employment. I am a hard working individual who works well with others. I have strong production/manufacturing, organizational and scheduling skills and am open to new experiences. I am well experienced with Microsoft Office 2013, utilizing many of the tools with emphasis on Excel. I have extensive management experience starting with the fast food industry as a 17 year old with McDonalds Hamburger, going through press and factory supervision in the corrugated packaging industry, continuing with being a plant manager, operations manager (in the corrugated packaging industry) and warehouse manager. I adapt quickly in understanding my employees personalities, using my knowledge to utilize the best approach in helping them to be valuable employees. Because of the extensive training and skills I have gained through the years, I am well experienced in human relations, the employee/manager relationship, and experienced in customer service. Please don't let my lack of a degree fool you. My many years of experience as a production manager, plant manager, and operations manager has provided me a hands on education My goal is to find a position with a reputable company with room to grow and utilize my training to be a benefit to that company.
