I am looking for a position as an Engineering Design Checker. Past experiences with both military and commercial projects. A Product Design Engineer, Designer, and Checker, my experience has afforded me an in-depth background with the understanding and usage of advanced practice of engineering design methods and technology, while using current industrial practices of prototype turnkey and full production procedures. Experience has shown me that engineering documentation should be checked for: a concise, defined interpretation of form, fit and function, being consistent, and designed with features dimensioned from well chosen datum’s, GD&T in accordance to ASME Y14.5 so that the alignment of interfacing parts shall always be operational. Eliminating rework, and shorting assembly time, while producing a high quality product. CAD experiences as a checker includes: AUTOCAD, CATIA, PRO/E, SOLID WORKS and UNIGRAPHICS.
