I have extensive experience in cell biology, immunology, biotechnology and molecular biology.
Areas of my primary interest are cell biology and 3-dimentional (3-D) cell cultures, where I developed cutting edge research tools and methodologies with strong potential for grant generation. The new 3-D culture methodology allowed me to construct an original system which can substitute animal testing, and can also be used for non-tumorigenic cancer cell lines. This system can be used in nanomedicine and drug delivery research. I developed new approaches for drug metabolic pathways and drug development research using innovative 2- and 3-D culture techniques.
