Description
Growing up on the farm, I'm no stranger to hard work. We fixed everything we broke, made tools out of broken parts and pieces that were lying around. Having to work with nothing to build tooling, parts, jigs, pushed me to strive to build things correctly. This interest in building things is what drove me to Machining/Tool & Die school. Within machine tech, I was introduced to design engineering. After obtaining a degree in Machine Technology, I was very curious about how things were engineered, and soon found myself pursuing a degree in Mechanical Design/Virtual Technology. This heavy background in mechanical diversity has pushed me to strive for the best proficiency I can provide within the mechanical design and engineering industry. My career goals include obtaining the experience and specialized training to design, build, and produce advanced assemblies, molded components, and prototype parts. Eventually I would like to work in aerospace in the design and production of aeronautical componentry. I would like to build up and maintain my own rapid prototyping and metal production shop, emphasizing in new technologies, and prototyping in the motorcycle industry.
