Career Objective; I am seeking a position in a professional environment, which will fully utilize my organizational skills; which include, purchasing, planning and scheduling. Purchasing, Planning, Scheduling and Organizational Qualifications; Five years of purchasing, planning and scheduling preventative maintenance. Scheduling down time within the affected departments and the maintenance department. Responsible for the purchasing of machine parts, vendor selection and the inventory for their multi-shift maintenance department. Qualified vendors with regards to price, quality and delivery. Consistently sought out ways to reduce cost through repair rebuild programs and vendor incentives. Devoted extensive time in research for the support of older and obsolete equipment. Coordinated service calls with the appropriate vendors, and OEM’s, insuring parts availability for repairs. Captured maintenance activities on all machinery in the Peterborough NH facility for New England Business Service’s Inc. Groton Ma. Fifteen years of planning and scheduling in a fast paced 400 person weld shop for Ingersoll-Rand Corporation, IMPCO Pulp Division. Supervised and directed the activities of the planners, expediter's and material handlers. Interfaced with engineering, sales and purchasing to insure timely and accurate completion of the finished product. Responsible for raw material acquisitions using MRP. Advanced in the company to the position of Account engineer with the added responsibilities of generating accurate sales quotes, as well as facilitating communication between the customer, field sales and engineering regarding retro-fits and auxiliary parts.
